Hi, my name is Funda Yolal. I grew up in Melbourne, Australia. Maybe it was rollerblading and cycling down to St Kilda on a balmy summer morning. Collecting crabs from the rockpools at Balnarring beach.  Maybe it was prancing around in my bathers under the sun and through the sprinklers. The smell of the sausages on the barbeque and squirting way too much tomato sauce over them. The sensation of running barefoot at the beach on the hot sand, and blowing bubbles in the salty sea water. Maybe it was even just going outside to play...

All of these things made summer an unforgettable time for me.  It was motherhood which ignited my passion for children’s swimwear and summer playwear design for children.

Li’l Ludy aims to provide one-off prints which are a li’l retro and a li’l different; swimwear that is not only unique and adorable, but reminiscent of a 70’s childhood representing the innocence and simplicity of being a child.
